Weekend 9th & 10th Feb
Looking like the winds dropping off on Sunday so I've managed to get Friday off. Southerly at the moment so I'm wondering if any of the
usual suspects are up for Dyfi or Blackrock..been a while..
Will have MTB on board if anyone's up for a pedal on Sunday?

Yep Neil. I pressed the post button and !Ay Puesto! You'd posted the same topic..Great minds n all that.
Would be great to get a trip upto BRS in before any restrictions kick in...In the right area for a spin arround the Marin Trail on
Sunday too.
We'll see if others are up for it too.

Shem, I'll defo be over Friday, happy to sail and pedal if thats what your into. If it's to be BRS, it's a 4.9m tide so I doubt that
we'll get on the beach till about 10-10.30. Also think it's about an hours drive from BRS to the Marin trail. I'll give you a bell on
thurs after work to finalise arrangements..
I'm still up for a pedal on sunday..don't mind having to travel if necessary.

equally happy to go coed y brenin..loads of choice there. I'll spk to you thurs evenin shem an make a decision then.. either venue will
provide plenty of thrills and challenges.

Hey Col was out on a crf450 last weekend, 3 of my mates have got them. Awesome bikes, absolute monsters. Very hard to keep on 2 wheels,
super light, However, if you want it for trail riding rarther than motor cross, dont get it, theyre just to much. Theres so much power
at the back wheel, they wont get up steep climbs, and pulling off on wet grass is virtually impossible with out leaving a creator
behind. If u want it for general riding go a xr instead. My trusty old ccm370 will have to do me for now!

that is one sweeeeeet looking piece of machinery, but i think i liked you alot more when you only had an xl600.........
i think the crf450x that col is taling about is a bit smoother than the motoX version crf450 you tried shem......designed from the
ground up for enduro, also his extra poundage should help with traction.....
how do you fancy taking us on that trail across happy valley as soon as we get a windless weekend.....?

Ha, Ha....it didn't take long for you think about getting something a little more racey.
Neil - the only bike you will be able to ride on your pre-war car licence is a 50cc.
You'll have to pass your CBT to be able to ride up to a 125cc with a max 33bhp (cost £89.00 & will only last for 2-years)
To ride anything bigger you'll have to pass a direct access test which will take aprox 3-weeks and cost £589.00
