anyone here a BSA member
I was thinking of joining the BSA, mainly to take advantage of their third party liability cover. Not that I'm a nut who causes a lot
of accidents, but does anyone know if it covers sports other than surfing, specifically kiting and kite surfing. I don't want to have
to fork out for BKSA membership as well.

Pretty sure BSA membership won't cover you for kitesurfing. You might be better off looking at getting a specific thrid party liabilty
insurance from a company that does sports cover.
Do a search for sports insurance in google.
Most have policies based on a level of cover. Sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing aren't usually too high up the scale.
(Things like scuba diving, sky-diving, and motorsports are higher).
These policies will give more than the policies included with BSA / BKSA membership, but it may work out less expensive to join both
the BSA and the BKSA than to take out a sports policy.

Insurance
Thanks everyone. I had a look at the sportsguard site surfing is a group one sport, so surfing cover includes just about everything
else including kiting and kitesurfing. I'm only really worried about third party cover, so the lowest level of cover is a pretty
reasonable 25 quid, whereas joining both the BSA and BKSA would cost a lot more than that. If the Sportsguard surf policy covers other
stuff, I'd be suprised if the BSA one didn't so I've emailed to ask them. If it does I'll go for family membership of the BSA which,
for only £38 would cover me and my son, plus I'd get the other benefits of membership (whatever they might be).

Bullet Boy.... I think you'll find that kitesurfing is a group 2 sport so you'll need cover up to that level, which puts the price up
to £28.90 (assuming the 'Bronze' level of cover).
Still cheaper than joingin both BKSA and BSA. I'm still pretty sure that BSA insurance won't cover kiting, and that BKSA insurance
won't cover you for surfing.
