Anna and I visited Iceland on holiday during June, 2001. I won't go into any of the locations in great detail here as they are all described in the diary We had a great time there and hardly slept as it was light 24 hours a day, so we packed as much in as possible. We went on several organised tours, although most of these were very personal as they involved a tour guide driving their own special 'monster truck' and a couple of other tourists. We only managed to visit the south western corner around Reykjavik and part of the southern side of Iceland. We also visited the traditional tourist attractions of Geysir, Gulfoss, Thingvellir and the Blue Lagoon, and went snow-mobiling on the Llangjokull Ice Cap and on a cruise.
