The first wave event to be organized at Devon's South Coast wave magnet, Bigbury-on-sea.

A pro fleet prize purse of £1000 is up for grabs + there will be various product prizes for an Amateur fleet. The event will be sponsered by Walls (Icecream) and The Venus Cafe, and organized by Reactive Watersports.

Bigbury is well known amongst Devon's wave sailing population as a spot that delivers good size waves on a regular basis. Passing world cup sailors Peter Volwater and Scott McKercher caught a big day on their way back from Ireland last year. Pete said it was the biggest day he'd ever sailed!

Ex-bigbury locals always pop back for yet another days sailing on the promise of a sizeable day. Timo often turns up for a session in the rivermouth, where any mistakes almost always result in a broken mast. Other ex-locals Andy & Steve King homed there skills at bigbury until recently & were often almost out of control mid-air.
