Mood: Getting less surf than my avat

Angry at Surf Forecasts

A1 Surf's forecast for the weekend just gone was that it was going to be good surf on pretty much all West facing beaches. This combined with offshore breezes and sunshine forecast inspired me to make the 2 1/2 hour trip to Rest Bay in S Wales.

After a long trip down there (lots of diversions) it was about 6 ins and blown out by very strong offshore winds.

On top of this, I get back to see that Bournemouth was 1-2 foot and clean.

This is only 2 1/2 hours and my mate lives there so there would have been hot showers and tea available!

Gutted! Anyone else have bad experiences to make me feel better?
