Is this behaviour normal?
I've just spent a few hundred quid on a new sail to complete my 4 sail, 5m-8m quiver - I'd felt that this should cover me for most
conditions I'd want to sail in. >8m and I'm not really interested and <5m (when I can sail) hasn't happened in the past two
years.
However, as soon as I'd "completed" my quiver I started thinking about what I'd like next .... smaller sail, high carbon 430 mast, new
fins etc etc.
Does anyone else suffer this affliction? Will I ever be happy with what I've got? How much is enough? Is there a cure?

I've always had 'one more thing' to add to the quiverbag since my wife and I started sailing. Now things are starting to wear out as
well!
I think it is a condition bought about by the fact that windsurfing takes a lot of commitment, but you can never guarantee a perfect
day leading to the state of mind where you keep thinking:-
"....but if I just had ?????? maybe today would have been my perfect day"
Is there wind on the way??

It sure is... At the moment I need a bigger kite, an 85 litre wave board to replace my old and heavy Hifly 265, a new wave board and my
Fanatic Cross 100 repaired. I could also do with a 4m sail, a new helmet, a new wetsuit and of course some downhaul rope as always!!!
Don't forget.... he who dies with the most toys wins!!!

Oh, and two new harnesses, one for winsurfng and one for kite-surfing. And while I'm at it how about a long-board too. Trouble is,
first priority is a very unexciting cesspit, which is proving to be more of a problem than you could imagine! GRRRRRrrrrrrr.

Does this cess pit thing mean that the light wind toys for the 4-5 oct are gonna be picks and shovels ?

Now theres an idea!!! Its not quite that simple though. Planning say we have to have a cesspit and not a septic tank, the contractors
and structural engineers say its not possible to install a cesspit in this location.... So we're not sure what exactly to do.
Maybe just a bucket in the corner!!.. At least thats the ceahpest alternative which would leave some money for new toys!

Nope, they all have septic tanks, but under new environment agency regulations, septic tanks aren't allowed to be used here anymore and
we have to have cesspits instead.
We're now getting our architect and structural engineer to devise and draw up plans for a large but shallow concrete cesspit to be
built... What fun!

The rest of the street is a lot older, so septic tanks were allowed, or at least not prevented. 
The current situation allows us old 'uns to pump our S*!£ into the sea,  , as it only affects a few sea birds, surfers, fish....
The mains sewer runs past the end of the road, but I think that the water company can forsee problems trying to put mains sewers into
Ynyslas, (for problems read Money)
Oh, and yes I am trying to decide what kit to buy next
