Hi Neil, got out for an session this afternoon (Sat). OK but wind was gusty and cold... Glad I got out to blow away some cobwebs.

Hi Neil, I should be about till thursday and would like a session or two - if the wind looks OK. Had a look at one of those battery
packs... Unfortunately at the terminals end underneath the white silicone they have actually set the whole thing in a block of epoxy...
Unbelievable ! All the other packs I have split into cells have only had silicone or just cardboard insulators which are easy to pull
apart or dissolve. Although the cells themselves are glued together that easily dissolved with spray of label remover but I don't
think I can get the (rather fragile) terminals out of the epoxy. Its slightly odd but both packs have the same faulty cell - the
third one from the negative end about 0.2 - 0.3V lower than all the others. Shame because there are 10 good cells in those packs but
I don't see a way of getting the terminals (like thick tinfoil) out of the epoxy block.

Looks as though Santa might be bringing some wind for Xmas day as well.

Yep, there's now wind at all here at the moment.... At least now that the weather station is back up up running you didn't have to
waste a trip here to find out though!
If there's wind tomorrow I might have time for an early one.
