In for a battering - Who's out this week?

The tail of of next weeks looks interesting at the moment... Looks as though we could be in for a right autumnal battering!

Looks as though the wind will arrive tomorrow... Nice SW's.

I'm swimming in Clarach in the morning but will be out windsurfing off the seafront in Ynyslas in the afternoon if anyone else is about.

Normally sail up at Rhosneigr but can't get out tomorrow and if the forecast holds up it will probably get blown out on Thursday so looking for an alternative. Would Tywyn or Borth be a good call?

I'll be out here in Borth, but it will be more blown out than at Rhossy... It always is. There should be plenty of wind and waves but it is a bit of a white-water fest here.

A few of the students are coming out as well so we shouldn't be on our own.

You could head further south to somewhere like Llanrhystud where the wind will be much more cross-shore, maybe even cross-off.

Even just into Borth rather than Ynyslas would give you a better wave, the waves just to the north of the temporary causeway have been pretty good lately.

Llwyngwril is a pretty epic wave spot. Lots of people windsurf the village reefs. And its a regular spot that i see windsurfers on over mast high waves. You have to like lots of rocks though! Oh and sw is cross shore

Not looking that windy at the moment today.

I really should get my act together and sail some of the reefs, but loading up the car and driving somewhere is so much more hassle than just wandering across the road with my kit and sailing here.

Just been over to the beach and it has dropped off again. About 12-16 knots at the moment so probably not worth the journey yet... I may pick up later though so I'll keep an eye on it.

I've got a meeting this morning, but hope to get out after that. Tom is coming down at around 1:30pm as well, but I might miss him.

Not sure about tomorrow yet. Wind looks good around Midday though so I might be able to get out for a quick little session.

Nice one... I'll see you there... Although I might head out in half an hour so I may have finished by the time you get there.

Turned out to be a good sail... Didn't wait as I didn;t want to miss the wind but ended up having a couple of hours with my 4.5m sail and little wave board before the wind started easing at around 1pm.

Video Here

Enjoy!
