Old school Board Help

Hi All
Hope some one can help i have an old long board wind surfer that i just snapped the rubber pivot part of the mast foot its a type that at the end has a groved plastic aprox 1" bit of plastic that drops into a hole and then you slide the metal rod both side in to lock the mast foot into the board. anyone know were i can find somthing like this or can i change the mast track to something newer any help anyone can give would be great

Hi Tommy, I now the sort you mean but they are pretty old school.

Your best bet will be to phone someone like Boardwise and see if they have one or see if you can get an adaptor for the mast track... You may even be able to remove the bit with the metal rods that hold the mastfoot in place from the existing masttrack and then be able to fit a more modern deckplate into it. I'm sure some one will have one of the old-style ones somewhere though.

You could take a look on eBay for people selling boards of that vintage as well as they might have a spare deckplate so it could be worth contacting them.

It is VERY old though so probably not spending much time or money on the board.
