Cold Cold Cold
So, whp's going to be brave enough to risk frost bite and hypothermia and get out on the water tomorrow?
Looks as though there should be a decent NE blowing and no doubt Ivor will add to that as well. It will be extremely cold though - I
don't think any speed records will be broken whilst sailing in slush!
I've still got a cold so will have to wait and see whether or not I brave it.

HHmmm, I may go for half and hour and wear snow board gloves, ensuring I keep my hands dry. The only part of me that feels the cold is
my hands. As Im sure youll substantiate Al, I cry rarther easy when they get cold!

Well no cold water for me... I spent yesterday afternoon in a southern German outdoor thermal spring baths. Sub zero air, 34-40Deg C
water and snow on the ground etc. Wonderful...

Just spent 4 days in the van by the river Severn just outside Kidderminster. Twas a real frost trap, -10C at night, and didn't rise
above -2C during the day.
Most things froze, the van was almost entirely encased in ice.
Luckily there was a pub just a few yards way with real ale and a roaring fire, so I survived the ordeal rather well

Didn't find any snow to play on over the weekend but there is heavy snow forecast here tomorrow, so hope to head to the hills for some
hiking and powder.

on tick since saturday and its stopped the freezing. will be ready to go for friday, snow chains in and all!!
Spooks thank God for the pub and real ale eh!
got down to -15 and some both trips to the alps but with the heating ticking over all night no problems. enjoy.

Ive just order a pair of £20 socks. I dont feel the cold much and have done loads of snow biking, but my toes n fingers get it.
Gloves I have sorted, hopfully the socks will work a treat as well. may be doing Canock on sat col, I thought Id have a break from the
hills and meet a couple of mates to go round there. Is it worth a trip brummie massive?
