Summer X-Zone @ Pendine

Mmmm what a weekend 120 ppl registered for the event. Sunny skys & no wind

2pm saw the thermals win out & 10mph on-shore kicked in so we quickly started the first comps & got a ATB race under way. Then disaster struck, the St Johns ambulance dude finds a mortar in the sand dunes & we all have to head off the beach while the M.O.D blow it up. so no more events on Saturday but we could still fly on the beach at the council owned end. by then we had 12mph of wind & great sunshine people played on the beach till 10pm ripping round till it got dark.

Sunday gave us more wind & no unexploded bombs so the freestyle comp went off. In an attempt to stop the Scotish boys taking all the prizes again(they really are amasing) we got them to judge the event

down the beach we had the first round of the ParaKart Super Cup which saw 27 competitors running on a point to point 2 hour enduro. report & results on the site soon.

The high.tv guys were there to cover the event so check out the video which should be on line by tomorrow.

Thanks to Windthings, Ozone, powerkiteshop, wind & water, Dunstable kites, PKD & every one who helped make the event a winner.
