Aberystwyth MTB Rides Week beginning 10th Oct. 2010
Night Ride
This weeks venue is Nant-yr-Arian again - so meet at 7:00 pm in the car park at the base of Hippity Hop or ride up from the war
memorial in Penrhyncoch at 6:00. Route will either be Summit Trail plus original Italian Job or maybe Pendam Trail plus out to Anglers
Retreat and back via sidewinder - depends on what riders want.
You will need lights now. Daves has a spare set, but you'll need to let him know if you want to borrow them at least 24 hours before
hand as they take a while to fully charge. It can be pretty cold during the ride even if it has been warm during the day so dress
appropriately. A change of clothes for the drive home is also a good idea .
Weekend Ride
I'm not sure if anyone else has anything planned yet, but I'm off to Bristol for the Bristol BikeFest. If you want to ride locally then
post here and I'm sure someone else will join you.
General Info
There is a group of 10ish transient and 4-5 regular “hardcore” riders who join in on these rides in and around
Aber/Mach.
We will ride for 2-2¬? hours depending on the people who join us, at a social pace.
