Hi to everyone.
I signed up today, so thought I'd post a quick message to introduce myself.
I'm Lee, I'm 26 and from Derby, Midlands.
I met Alan about 2 years ago when I bought a blade off one of his mates...cheers Al, luvin it!
I bought the kite to get into kitesurfing, but something happened and I accidentally got into kitebuggying for a couple of years.
After a long wait, I bought my 1st LEI a couple of weeks ago, and am awaiting delivery of my Peter Lynn twin tip board.
I took my 1st trip to the coast with a crowd of kitesurfers from Derby last weekend and I love it!
Anyway, thats enough about me, I'm sure one or 2 of you will be asleep by now!.
I look forward to interacting with you all.

Hi Lee,
Glad to have you online here at last. And glad to hear you've finally got out kitesurfing... There'll be no stopping you now.
Where did you go out on the water? How did you get on?

I went to Southport, near Liverpool.
I got on OK, the wind wasn't quiet enough, but I did manage to get on the board and travel about 20ft.
My next trip is at the Summer Buggy Bash at Pendine, hopefully the weather will be OK and the wind about 12mph. If so, I'll be
kitesurfing, not buggying
Me and a mate may be coming to Borth for a few days during the 1st week in July, we'll have to hook up in the evening if your about.

Sounds good to me... Meeting up for a beer that is. I'm sure we'll be around.
12mph to go kitesurfing??... What size kite have you got...25m!!! We usually wait until its about 12 knots to go out with big (15m
plus) kites here, and the people that are into kitesurfing here are often out with their 12m kites when its 20 knots!! They'll usually
change down to something smaller once it gets above 20 knots though.
I seem to remember that i wouldn't describe you as 'petite' either!!!

Lee... Just had a thought. as you and yoour mates are all now expert kite0buggiers etc., How do you fancy helping me out with some of
the Kiting questions in the Are you a 'Force-of-Nature' questionnaire??
I'll basically just need a complete list of skills and tricks with ratings accoding to their difficulty. Somthing along the lines of
the windsurfing questionnaire, but covering all aspects of kiting. If you're up for helping out with it, I'll give you a little more
detail on the scoring system etc.
