Wintry Wales
Minus 6.2¬?C here at the moment, which equals the coldest recorded by the
weather station since it started recording in December
2005.
I know it isn't as cold as inland, but its pretty cold for the coast. Previous coldest day was Jan 9th 2009 where it also reached minus
6.2¬?C.

-6.5 was the lowest it got to. I've been checking some other stats from various weather stations too. Some places inland got to around
-9 or -10, those higher up dropped to -12 in the early hours of the morning. I think Sennybridge in the Brecon beacons was the coldest
place in Wales with a low of -15¬?C... Not even close to the record for Wales though of -23.3¬?C in Rhayader back in 1940... Now that
is cold!
