SUP race as well as canoes at this years Conwy Ascent
Hi,
We are a Conwy based canoe club who are running the annual Conwy ascent canoe race on Sat Jun 27th.
This year we have added a SUP (standup paddleboard) race to the event so I thought I would post a notice about it as I have noticed
that a few people have mentioned that they have SUPs.
The plan is for an informal 3 1/2 mile race up the estuary with a nice following tide. This is to give less experienced SUPers a chance
to try a moderate length distance race in fairly sheltered water.
Full details are on the Conwy ascent website at
http://www.dcpaddlers.co.uk/conwy_ascent/ />
We look forward to seeing people up in N. Wales.

Just a reminder about the Conwy ascent race tomorrow.
There is no wind forecast and it will be pretty hot and sweaty for biking, so why not bring your canoe or SUP up to Conwy for the
race.
If anyone fancies staying over, John Hibbard is doing the race and then running a Starboard SUP demo session at LLandudno north shore
beach at 10:00am on Sunday morning.
