hello

Just thought I'd introduce myself, and now suddenly don't know what to say.

Ummm... My names Sally. I don't really do any of the sports mentioned here, but I like to have a go at them when on holiday, and think I'd like to get into it more, although it always looks too cold here.

Thought I'd check out some sites to see what the surfy community was like and this one looks nice and friendly. Some were far too scary.

Thats it without getting personal.

Sal.

Ooooh.... A girl!!!

Steady on Boys.

Hi Sal.... Just do it, its not THAT cold here. Well, it does get cold in the winter, but once you're into it you won't notice that. As long as theres wind you'll be out there.

Where abouts are you? Are there any 'local' windsurf spots?

Al.

Me me me.... She's mine.

Forget about the windsurfing, I can't do that yet, but don't underestimate the 'pulling power' of my kites.

Sorry Joner....

I'm after a man with 'no strings attached'!

And the thought of all those windsurfers in tight rubber suits 'skipping their willy's' is what does it for me!!

hello

Hello,

Thought I'd jump on someone else's hello and have a bit of female bonding....oops that probably got you boys excited at that thought
Anyway, Sal - give windsurfing a go....I started a couple of years ago, and it's great fun....little bit chilly in the winter, but well worth it in the summer when you can pose on your board in a bikini!

D

PS willies, wetsuits & cold water don't mix very well in my experience

Don't tell me 'justal'... You need somewhere to hang your wetsuits out to dry!!

Dallas... Where do you normally windsurf then? Are you any good? It seems as though the early stages would be better learnt somewhere warmer and sunnier. Did you learn in this country?

Have you noticed that as soon as there are a couple of girls online the tone of the converstaion drops and we end up discussing erect nipples, shrivelled genitals and lesbianism.... Or have I misread something!

Good to see we can count on the girls to add interest to the forums.... Now to encourage them to come to Borth!!!

hello

hi sal,

I've just moved to Bristol, but have done most of my sailing at Hayling Island. I learnt a couple of years ago in Poole Harbour which is a great place to learn as it's shallow and there's generally no waves. I'm not that good, basically coz I've just let my friends teach me, and being a girlie we don't tend to have the same stubborness that guys have to just keep practicing the same thing over and over again. Having said that I've booked myself on a women's windsurf clinic in Vassiliki in June, so hopefully will come back as a windsurfing whizz-chick.

Anyway, if you haven't tried it yet, give it a go....

ps at least talking about erect nipples makes a change from the weather......

Bristol Hey... Have you met up with the Bristol Nomads Windsurf Club yet??... I know a couple of them and they seem like an OK bunch of people to go windsurfing with.

MartinF (a member on here) is part of the Bristol Nomads if you want to find out how to contact them.

I'm from Bristol myself, and still visit fairly often and have spent most of my recent visits to my parents off in search of wind in South Wales or along the South Coast!!

Have you windsurfed at Weston-Super-Sludge yet??

I still haven't got out on the water...Loads of things seem to come up whenever I've planned to even start sorting it out.

I have changed my avatar though seeing as we were talking about bikini grils in this post I though I'd go with one of those!!
