unsticking naish slalom boom
I had a bad accident that left me disabled for past 63 months, now that I'm back to windsurfing I see my sliding boom is stuck tight. I
tried penitrating oil tapped on it with wrench while a mate was pulling like the dickings one side gave up but one side is stuck tight.
since it has rubber on outside I cannot apply heat/ thoughts?

I had a boom stuck with sand and palced the back end over a vertical post stuck solid into the ground, grabbed hold of the side arms
and jerked forward. In retrospct wrapping atowel around teh post may be a good idea to prevent damage to the back end. Only other tip
is I found some white crud on a vent screw for a board and soaked that in warm vinegar (weak acid) to dissolve crid.

Dude,
If you've got one side free, can you unscrew the front end? If so, try taking the free side off all together, by removing the
front.end. Soapy water, taping and twisting might free the stuck side.
Good luck
