Aber MTB rides week beginning 29th Sept

This weeks night ride is on Wednesday 1st October.

Venue is Angler's Retreat. Meet at 7pm at the usual spot just over the top of the hill on the fire road that leaves the Nant-y-Moch road at SN 702 909 and park at SN 731 911. Park here: http://www.multimap.com/s/cKkIfOCx

We will ride the loop taking in the rutted/eroded double track to Mach 3 and then either turn back to and go down Artists valley or head down the Chute and then back up to Angler's Retreat via a 'good' climb. Another option is to simply head straight down into Artists valley, but we can debate that one during the pre-ride pfaff.

The nights are definitely drawing in so lights are needed. Both Martyn and Dave have a spare set of lights, so if you want to borrow some then let us know via this forum so that we know to bring them. Maybe bring something warm for the end of the ride as it gets cold later on.

General Info
There is a group of 10ish transient and 4-5 regular ‚Äúhardcore‚Äù riders who arrange rides in and around Aber/Mach. We tend to ride in the evenings through the week, and at weekends (although less regularly) and also take part in Enduros.....

We will ride for 2-2¬? hours depending on the people who join us, at a social pace. Please feel welcome to join us at any time. Just post here so that we can expect you.

Just spoke to Shem and it looks as though there will be an early morning ride on Sunday (Oct 5th).. Details to follow as we'll probably meet Shem at Pendam around 7am, but I may cycle up from Penrhyncoch so will set off from the War memorial at 6.30am..

It depends if anyone else is coming or not?
