I was thinking the same yesterday Shem... It has been pretty bad.

I was holding out for Ivor on Sunday, ut even that slight possibility seems to have vanished now. Although he may arrive next week.

I'm just glad I bought a bike!

Perhaps if we all link our inverters together and wire them up to a giant hotwired hairdrier we could kitesurf off that??? _ on second thoughts I'll get my coat.......

It might be frustratring for you guys that can kitesurf but it's more so for us guys & girls that are trying too. You start to make some progress, then no wind. August Bank holiday was my last session. Might get the arse end of hurricane Ike.

Plenty of places along the North Coast Shem... Places like Llanfairfechan or Penmaenmawr should be OK in a NE (As long as it isn't too easterly). Or Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey.

Shem,

Head to Red Warf Bay, I think that'll work in a NE.

Dunks

Greetings from Hourtin-plage - same story down here on the west coast of France - only difference is it's 15-18 knts easterly, bang offshore and has been all week. Only consulation is that there ain't a cloud in the sky and it's super warm. Gonna teach myself to surf this week so not all's lost !!

My Bro say's hi to all you guys back home.

See you all soon Rich.
