Hang Gliding
Hi Forces-of-Nature fans,
besides wind surfing I also do some hang gliding. It is a lot of fun. Among the best things about it is that it compliments wind
surfing quite nicely. When the wind is not strong enough for a session on the water it usually is for hang gliding. Ok, a bit of
sunshine presumed.
Is anyone else into that kind of force of nature powered sport? I would love to go flying on a beach site but don¥t know any yet.
Who can help?
Cheers
Joe

Have you been to Saunton or Woolacome(sp?)
They have massive sand dunes, & face westerly, I've seen paragliders over the dunes there a few times.

Joe,
Check out Llandudno in North Wales one day. I know that paragliders jump off the Great Orme and land on the beach of Llandudno West.
I'm also pretty sure that you can get up there with a car as there is a visitor centre etc at the top, so access with a hang-glider
should be OK too.
Maybe we should plan a weekend up there soon, as the beach of Llandudno West is good for windsurfing and kitesurfing too...Fairly flat
shallow water, but Rhosneigr isn't too far away should we feel the need for some waves.
