Spring Break Buggy Blast in the USA

just got back from 2 weeks in the Desert out in the US. We were competeing in the parakart racing on Ivanpar dry lake ben the cali/nevada state line.

Had some amasing buggying, its most definately one of the most extreme buggy spots in the world. The lry lakebed we were using is so hard, flat & grippy, speeds were well of the scale.

As for the wind, well talk about gusty! huge thermic winds that jump from 10-50mph them drop totaly only to swing round 90deg & come in at 30mph.

On a few days the wind calmed down & we were able to see why the yanks love this place so much. Just watch out for the huge(150m+ across) dust devils. If one of these catches you with your kite in the air you better let go else its a one way trip to 2-300m up. I here the retun trip takes far less time

A new record speed (unofficial) was set at 72.8mph.

pics here & some words to follow on the X-Zone site.

Thanks to Ozone for paying for most of it.
