Weekend 24-25-26

More easterlies it looks like.

Is there anywhere dovey side that you can fly on an Easterly? What does Ivor need? Can tap into that from dovey side? (never been there on a north-easterly or other)

Will be in the dovey part of the world that bank holiday weekend and wondered what to do. Other than sit on the beach.

If Ivor is out to play and more Easterly than NE then you don't normally need to be too far from the shore at Aberdovey to get some wind, but there can be a really bad wind shadow by the beach. The wind then increases significantly once you get out into the channel and across towards Ynyslas... The more Northerly the wind the worse the wind shadow.

It is better to launch from the Ynyslas side in a NE though so why not come across and join in the fun over here!

Its certanly easier from ynys las side, but stilltotally do able from dyfi, as long as your not at the loosing ground down wind stage. If the tide is big and out going forget it, youll loose meters per second in the current, but as long as theres tide against wind its fine in a Easterly, and just about ok in a NE, just expect it to be a lot windier once you get a hundred yards out.
