LB - the worlds your oyster dude!

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned El Gouna yet. Should be nice and warm in May too.

Would also recommend El Gouna, but may be best to ask her doctor as to what resorts may be safe or otherwise to travel to.

I would keep to somewhere in mainland europe.

thanks for the replies folks!

ill look into the suggestions so far.

france or spain would be absolutely fine. we've been looking at sardinia as well.

im happy to go anywhere with wind, water and a good school.

my lady wants somewhere pretty with a pool and beach to chill out on, then some nice restaurants for the evening.

also with good medical facilities in the general area (100knm) just in case. (im a doc myself so perhaps a bit more paranoid than usual). I agree mainland europe or nearby would be best.

As Neil mentioned, the Mar Menor is a lovely area, both for kitesurfing and a general holiday.

You can fly to San Javier or Alicante ( being the nearest airports ( SJV is 5 miles from the Mar Menor ).

Do a search for holidays in La Manga, Murcia ( capital city ), Los Alcazares, San Javier. There are loads of properties for rent there. Hotels are on the La Manga strip.

Mar Menor

Hi All,

I also have a question about the mar menor - I am taking a group of friends to Los Alcazares to stay at my parents house and we want to go on a beginners kitesurfing course. Anyone got an ideas of the name of the school there, or even a website or contact number?
Would be deeply appreciated!!!!!!!

Thanks
