Fuerteventura and Flag Beach
Hi all,
As a new member of this website, has anyone been kiteboarding in Fuerteventura?
I moved to this island 6 years ago, and spend many hours of my spare time on Flag beach with my camera.
Best regarsd,
Roy

Hi Roy - Funnily enough I've never kitesurfed there but am flying out to Fuerte on Saturday, stopping in the Riu Oliva Hotel so should
be out kitesurfing at Flag beach from Sunday for a week.

I went out there for two weeks a couple of years ago and had a great time but I didn't go to Flag.
Watch your kit Darren and don't leave valuables in your car at flag. Are you going for safety boat cover? Would't want to put a downer
on your trip but Iv'e heard plenty of negative comments about the kite centre ops and the local theives!

I had a week at Flag beach a year ago. I thought it was okay, it gets slagged off a lot, but I found it fine, there were some good
waves to play on off to the right, launching was fine, prob not the best area for beginners cause there are a few rocks, didn't have
any probs with theft but I was aware of that and was careful. Have fun!
