thread lock on straps?

Does anyone know if its safe to put thread lock on the screws holding my footstraps on my techno? The front ones keep comming loose at the moment its sail for a few hours and tighten them up. I don't really want to move to new holes cos Ive just found where the straps are without having to look for them.

NO!

Having tried a chemicle (Superglue) on my F2 and having the delight of watching my new(ish) board disolving in front of my eyes.....I would say NO!

How about a spring washer between the screwhead and the footstrap?
