What Mountain Bike ?

Want to buy a new mountain bike.

Any suggestions on a good website or place to get a good deal

Also, what's a decent make these days? Want to spend a grand tops. I've always had Trek roadbikes - so figured they'd be Ok.

Any info would be great

Might see you all next weekend if I get back from India at a decent time Fri night.

Rich

Hi Rich,

As you know I've had a Marin Mount Vison for a few years. I have to say though, I really like the look of the Specilized now.

I'd probably try to pick up a "last years model" so you get more for your money. Its gota be a full bouncer and lock off's a bonus.

Give me a call when you get back.

Dunk

Dont't bother with a downhill bike as most of the riding you'll undoubtedly be doing in this country wouldn't warrant it, that is unless your going to a circuit that is equipped with an up-lift. Nothing more than an all mountain or enduro rated bike will more than do you. The majority of d'massif and associates ride full sus xc bikes and ride all terain that they come across.
