Looking at the Isobars on the BBC and the wind on XC weather, it looks like North Wales will be better for wind this weekend.

Low tide is around 1.30 at Black rock sands, so that is where Shady and Deathbag will be heading this Saturday to try and score some lagoon action.

Hope to see some of you there if you fancy a gamble on the wind

Its a nice steady 22knots on the beach at Borth right now.

200 m sea swim at Barry Island at 3pm today, brrrrrrrr nut numbing but avoided prolonged face/head inversion but got caught by a few breakers
sea temp 7-8C

Had a great day at Blackrock. The wind was as high as 30mph in the morning although dropping to around 15mph in the afternoon.

Best news though my grandson was born today Another little shady to carrry on the family tradition of excess

Was a good day at BRS. Wish I'd got there earlier but hey the 2 solid hours on the water was OK. Got a little cold at the end.
