new lock on gate at borth golf course car park
had a message from Mark Loxley last night to say there is a new lock on the gate at the car park. do we have a word with the Doc about
staying at his place on the corner? any one up there willing to ask him? as no doubt David is going to squeeze us for staying over
there now and it might then come to a stop!

got in touch with the golf course and they put me in touch with Daffyd who informs me that he has not changed the lock so could be a
panic for nothing. he will be changing it for next season as expected.

I'd heard that someone saw a couple of workmen by the gate who said they were changing the lock - not sure if anyone with a key has
actually tried it recently - to see if it really HAS been changed?

I don't have a key, but I can take a look at the lock (although I don't actually know what the old one looked like)...
Quite often though they change the lock itself as it corrodes pretty quickly in this environment, but the lock they replace it with
still works with the older keys, so the only way to find out properly if your key still works will be to try it.
