hydrofoil questionnaire
Hello windsurfer!
For those who doesn’t know it yet, Levarius is a group of 5 mechanical engineering students from the University of Sherbrooke in
Qu?©bec. The group is actually working on a prototype of hydrofoil windsurf. To help us in finding the needs for such product we would
REALLY appreciate that you take a couple minutes of your time to answer our questionnaire.
1- For how many years have you been riding?
2- How many times do you ride per year?
3- Where do you usually ride? (Country, Area, Lake or ocean)
4- In what wind conditions do you ride?
5- What’s the best wind for going out?
6- What’s the average size of the waves that you encounter while windsurfing in the conditions answered in 5?
7- Are the waves a problem for you?
8- Try to evaluate the % of your board in contact with water while riding at full speed.
9- Have you ever tried windsurfing with a hydrofoil? If yes, how many times?
10- What would be the ideal characteristics of a hydrofoil windsurf excluding the price? (Put as much details as you can)
