Waist Harness Recommendations?

Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a new waist harness and am wondering if any of you have any decent recommendations?
I rather like the look of the Maui Firestarter '07 but it seems pretty pricey at the moment. I've been using a Maui Mystic seat harness for the last couple of years and that's lasted really well so I don't mind splashing out a bit if it lasts me a good while.

Any and all advice welcome, cheers,

IK

I'm after a new waist harness too and will probably get one of these - Dakine Nexus... Da Kine quality but at a decent price.

Cheers for the advice, looks pretty good actually, like you say, Dakine quality at a reasonable price. I'm hoping this might help me ride toeside a bit better, I get pretty twisted up with the seat harness, might be my technique though eh.
I saw a waist harness a while back where the hook would actually slide around the harness slightly to help with not wrapping you up too much... but I can't remember the make of it... oh well.
Cheers for the recommendation,

IK.

I've been using a seat/waist DARKRIDER for the last year or so and now have a FIRESTARTER.

The Darkrider is for sale if you're interested. Very nice harness and a good half way between seat and waist. In fact , you can use it without the seat bit. For the last/many months I just tucked up the seat bit and used it as a waist! Still in excellant condition.

The Firestarter is lovely! - No rear handle though, it comes as standard with a handle pass leash. It is a lot thinner than the Darkrider and is quite stiff but moulds itself after a few wears. The one I bought is a medium and I could probably do with a small so may consider selling this one if you're interested. It's been used about 5 times...

Aaron Hadlow Waist Harness

I got the Pro Limit Aaron Hadlow waist harness and it's superb, no problems whatsoever. I'm a 28" waist and got a small. Fits well with the wetsuit on.
