We all know that you really weigh 7 stone COL, but put loads and loads and loads of padding in your wet suit, just to pretent your a fat bastard, and thus impress people with light wind riding. Light wind ridings all in the board, just ask Fart boy about the time I was up and riding on the 9 trix in 8-10 knots, big board = big fun! Top day saturday!

7 stone your my bestest mate now shem......i can't stress enough to people about there board choice, nowadays you don't need flip flop size boards like we used to have, width is all important..(just ask the misses)...even Mr Hadlow uses a 137 x 44.as he says creates a larger plane area and enables the landings to be softer......i'm glad he took my advise.bloody newbie

well if you were suffering in the sub 10 knot wind zone on saturday then you should have been up at BlackRock. We had 15-20 for most of the day with a steady 20 for late afternoon until after 6pm !

It was 15-20 knots all day here at Borth too.... Max gust was around 26 knots I think.

Were you out on Saturday then Col ???, I did venture over to Borth a couple of times (following another chap on a yellow and black sonic, never can remember his name). Never seen the sea so full of rubbish, and a few dead sheep etc, and loads of what looked like grass clippings.

Had a fab session, just a shame that no one else turned up till after an hour after I arrived so had to wait in the car as I'm not a fan of kiting on my own. Seemed to be more people over Borth than at Dovey on Sat.

Even managed to worry Shem when I crashed my kite a fair way off the beach. Tumbled a few times, and the lines got crossed, but still managed to get it flying again. If I'd have been on my old Link, I might have had a long swim in. Hopefully he would have come out to help ??.

Off to the Canaries a week on Weds, so will hopefully be jumping and pulling off a few back loops by the time I get back.

Hope the wind blows whilst I'm away for you all.

Cheers,

Simon

Saturday was a top day one of the best in a long time Borth had plenty wind and all day Andy and I sailed from 8am til 7pm with the odd rest for refuelling through the day.

Col like that kite very much a real light wind machine, you could sail on that all day long (oh I think I did)

So knackered from the Saturday really did not have the inclination or the energy to pump my 17 up on Sunday to fart around in the estuary. My legs ache like hell today but it was all well worth it, oh and me face is a bit burnt too

Top weekend.
