What a session...

What a session... 4 solid hours windsurfing in the estuary at Ynyslas...Short sharp chop and 25-30 knot winds. Fun was had by everyone (Me. Steve, Darren, Olly, Ben, Derek and another unknown windsurfer).

Darren hurt himself come the end though...Hows your foot Darren??

Full details here

Just read Darren's diary entry for yesterday - really tough luck, mate. These things happen, I guess ('though I've only managed to damage myself like that whilst skiing - so far )

Get well soon.

Nice one... Bruised ALL your ankle hey!!

I stubbed my toe pretty badly on the coffee table last year whilst trying to forward loop in the living room... And that was without any beer!!

I was also off the water for a month or so after tearing my ligament in my knee during a crash-landing whilst windsurfing.

Dazza...How long do you reckon you'll be off the water for??... Its bound to be a good omen for us, no doubt we'll have some windy weekends while your unable to get out on the water... I've heard of people burning boards as a sacrifice for wind, but breakig our ankle is taking things a little too far.

Hi Dezzamuffin

Hope you are coping OK with the bordon.

I thought you may like to have a look at the following link to keep you amused:

http://www.beer.com/ca/wa/index.html />
Then click on the link for Broken leg.

Looks like it could give you some ideas for the next few days

Hmmm!

1) Just found the web page myself
2) then selected the URL and did a <cntl>C
3) task switched back to the Forum
4) put the cursor in the right place
5) Hit <cntl>V

Looking back, it seems to have added things to the end of the link, even though I did not type anything.

I had the same problem the other day. Decided it was better to write everything and put the link at the end with no further writing as it only seemed to confuse things.

Yep...as Paul said its best to use the BB code...but we can't show you how to do it here becasue if you enter the code it treats it as code, not text!!

I'm, not sure why the Insert Hyperlink Button doesn't work properly..I didn't realise it didn't until now!
