Estuary was pumping

The estuary was pumping yesterday evening (11/02/07). Only me and jaymo out at dovey by the time the wind kicked in around 3 oclock. The waves seemed to be easing off in the estuary and were no where near as aggressive as the waves at the point and the cemetry. They were hitting really hard. Wave riding in the estuary was awesome though 3-4ft and
nice and clean one of best wave riding sessions ever for me. Wasnt brave enough to take on the waves elsewhere though, some of them out the back must have been reaching 10-12ft+ easy wish id put my surf board in. We were both out until it went dark. Superb

Oh well looks like I missed out. At least I got a bit of riding in before taking Luke home.

All I can say to that is, "ditto"

Superb Sunday, eventually! Well worth a lot of waiting around, thumb twiddling watching those over at Borth, who obviously had more luck with the wind than we did.

The moral of this story is. If at first, there's no wind, wait, wait, and wait some more.

Well at least the 17 saw the light of day and the latest bar seemed to do the job of getting it to turn.
