Where can I find description groin types ?

Dear all

This is my first participation in this wonderful forum , I hope I can find an answer for my question concerning the types of groins used for shore protection against erosion .

I need a topic or a web page describing the different types of groins , of what material are they built, what are the different shapes they could have , etc.

Hope to find a fullfilling answer .
