Weather forecasts
Just thought I'd let you know that I'm working on some new weather forcasts pages in collaboration with windguru.
Basically the pages will be portals to the information provided by windguru for various UK locations. I'll start with Barry, Newgale,
Borth and Rhosneigr as they are the closest to home for me. I won't just get the raw data from windguru though, as I'll adjust the
windspeeds with bits of local knowledge in mind. For example, we know that NE's at Ynyslas (borth) can be about 10-25% stronger than
elsewhere due to the funneling caused by the Dovey valley, whereas Southerlies and SE's are generally more gusty amd lighter.
I'll therefore need any local info people can provide for Barry, , Newgale and Rhosneigr. I know the basics for these places, but its
always good to get other people opinions too.
I might be able to add some other locations soon too, so get your requests in now!!
