new to aberystwyth
Hi all,
I have just moved to Llanillar & am a postgrad student at Aber. I learnt to windsurf while at uni in cardiff & am hooked,
hopefully get to meet some people on the beaches around cardigan bay - i'll be the one who you think you should call the lifeguard for
but don't worry, i'm just practicing my waterstart & its supposed to look like that...javascript:icon('')

Hi Charlie.... Let me know when you are heading to the beach... Borth and Ynyslas will be the best places for you to go and if there is
wind then you are likely to be able to persuade me to come out with you for some encouragement.
It is looking good for most of this week, so if you fancy a windsurf session let me know.
What are you studying??

Hi!
I went to ynyslas two weeks ago, was good fun, think Sat and Sun are supposed to be good but its southerly - where's best in that
direction? I'm an intermediate (can waterstart & harness but not quite in the footstraps) so I prefer flatish water to practice
technique but can be pursuaded to sail in waves if people don't mind keeping an eye out for me! I'll check the forecast on Fri and let
you know
Oh and I'm studying international politics

Hi Charlie....
Southerly isn't the best direction around here, but at your level you should probably still head for the estuary at Ynyslas where the
water will be flat and although the wind will be a little lighter than on the seafront and quite gusty, with the winds that are
forecast there should still be plenty to get you going.
Maybe I'll see you there.

Charlie.... Looks as though I will be out playing tomorrow (Thursday) if you are interested... Although it may be a little too much for
you on the seafront, but if you are around pop out and say hello.
