GK Sonics rubbish depower cleat

Hi peeps,

I can never seem to get the power control line to stay in the cleat, so the kite keeps dropping out of the sky. I bought it 2nd hand and the rope's a bit old, but is there a better system I can have put on instead, and any short-term solutions?
Thanks in advance,
Andrew

1) buy a new rope, it will wear.
2)Tie a knot in the rope so it can't slide through. about 1m of line from cleat to front line split is about right but don't take my word for it, find the position by fying it fully sheeted in at the point wear it doesn't fly backwards.
3) buy the bar upgrade from www.airjam.co.uk call Sean.

Like willf said, if its second hand you dont know how much use its had, so get a new centre line. Ive never had a single prob with mine. You do need to get the trim set and knot tied however or probs will occur.

Sean Gave me a new cleat with a 14 on it rather than a 12. We don't know the difference but it did the trick. I purchased a new rope at the same time but did not need to use it.

Been waiting a month for AirJam to reopen their website so I can get new stuff... Can't seem to find GK stuff elsewhere. Anyone know when AirJam will be back up & running?

give sean a phone he'll sort you out, as a matter of course it's worth getting a new depower rope etc when buying second hand as shem says you don't know wot abuse it's had..then again you could always buy a warroo
