Problems with dirty water
The problem i got is every time i go kayaking in a river or on a weir the day afetr i feel awful and end up ill. My friend and i have
just finished our a levels and all the way through we were ill due to kayaking. We decided to change river and we still ended up
getting sick lol. Just want to know is there anything we can take or any thing we can do to reduce the impact of the water. i was told
drinking coke afterwards seems to have a good effect please help.
thanx

Which rivers have you been in?? I've been playing around in rivers since I was a little nipper and have never got ill. I also used to
go swimming in Bristol Docks all the time which was pretty disgusting but never had any problems.. I guess some people are just more
susceptible to these things...
Of course, it may have more to do with the 'few too many' in the pub after your kayaking sessions!!!
