Hi and which bow?
Got back out on water on Sunday, which was fun and then very briefly last night, blown off obviously need to eat more pies!
Now, really fancy a bow but totally confused as to which one, everyone seems to have sonics, instinct looks good and then a few people
have said that the Ion is better than the lot.
Also heard there is a prob with stopper ball thingy on the sonic and the build quality is iffy.
Any comments appreciated, and hi to all, good to see some of the crew again on the beach last night - must do less climbing and more
kiting!

Hey buckski
The sonic stopper ball isnt designed to be a full stopper, more a token gesture, most people dont even use it. As far as build quality,
there wher 9 warranty issues out of 250 kites, far less than most on percentage rates, and GK warrant every one. Youll find with akll
bow style kites it takes a couple of session to get them fully dialed. Ive got a selection if you wanna come try some out!

dude the sonic rocks, i personally ride the stopper all the time the new ones are way better and hold the kite well, you can walk up
the beach hands free, only big gusts will knock it out, in my experience anyway. the stopper makes it really solid and feel more c
like, but pop through and you got the greatest gust eating kite ever. the newer lines of sonics have all the probs sorted on them now
any way, you're more than welcome to try mine if you want.

Instinct for me, awesome in gusts doesnot invert the bar is always in reach and the build quality is awesome. The sonic is the only
other bow/sle ive tried though so cant really comment too much but i personally prefer the instinct and thats not just because ive got
one. lol
Hopefully see some of you guys sunday if the weather changes

Since i started flying the sonic my riding has gone through the roof...and that is not only me, i've seen other riders like Will, Daz,
Chris and Woosh really improve..it seems to just give one so much confidence..i've managed to nail the downloop, big kiteloops, landed
2 flat 3's and even one double s-bend yesterday..as Shem has stated 9 out of 250 kites return says it all. Oh yeah, and no-one really
tells you this but I know the build quality of the instinct is better but have u ever taken weight into account?? Weight of a kite in
my books is a big factor - if its heavy and gets wet u'll lose out big time in light winds, but with the sonic it is the lightest kite
i've flown before.
Truly stoked on these legends

dude i was hanging on to 11m sonic on weds afternoon/evening. Must admit it was well above it's upper wind limit but still ok, Must
start saving for a 8m sonic, come the end of the summer.
My kiting has come on stacks. Gives me the confidence to try new things and without getting a good spanking

oh yes, the waroo is tres superb, lovin it, sooo easy to launch and land and fantastic on the water, plenty of power when you want it
and then switch it off when you don't, thoroughly recommended, as was the spot Quiberon, top place.

had my first session on the north rebel this weekend, awsome toy. has got much more of a classic kite feel to it compared to some of
the other new designs. was using a 9m in up to 40mph. It turns so quickly, has the usual massive depower and loads of lift. Great toy
