Boat Storage

Just wondering If there is anywhere u can store ur Kayak saftely if i attend aber university. Also is it worth bringing my own or do the uni have there own

You always used to be able to store such things in the boat house by the harbour.... I assume you'll still be able to. I'm sure the uni have some of their own as well... best thing to do will be get in touch with the secretary of the kayak club... I'll see if I can find out some contact details for you.

Yeah no problems storing your Kayak at uni. You'l just have to join up with the kayak club when you start, if your cheeky enough. You can pay your ¬£20 deposit and get a key for the boathouse for a year where theres ample storage for your kayak. You'l also get the use of showers upstairs and the lounge. A great place for a barbie in the summer or early autumn after a session on the water.
The uni has loads of kayaks for use as well so you may not need to bring your own.
