Newbie questions
Hi all
Just returned from "The Reef" in St Lucia where i intended to do a bit of windsurfing but ended up learning to Kite. I've done an IKO
course up to level 3J (ie can stand up in both directions and that's about it )
I now want to buy some kit to continue before i lose the bug. I'm a reasonable windsurfer (waves etc) so am looking initially at
getting some kit for lighter winds. The local shop are doing a Wipika package with 11 or 13.5 kite for £849 (2006 kit). This seems
reasonable for a start package and i am thinking of the 13.5 kite (weigh 90kg).
Am i going about this the right way and is this a good package to start with?
Thanks
Kev

There are loads of deals out there. Keep looking around. Check out the mags for good dealers. Find one you get on with and can
trust. They'll offer the best aftersales service too....

Buy the newest gear you can afford, it'll be worth it. I spotted the new 2006 Torch on ebay, rather than buying old outta date gear.
It'll be 50% cheaper i reckon.
