Thursday 22nd session. dry suit, 14 m sonic
Why havent I bought a dry suit before. Strolled down the beach in combat trousers and sweat shirt, rigged up, put Pyro dry suit over
top, went kiting pulled off suit and carried on with my day in the same clothes. NICE!! Much more flexible than a wetty, and just easy.
Although the wind was cac, i thought id test the 14 m sonic. before going out my wind meter was reading between 7 and 9 knots, and I
was able to keep up wind easily and jump!! Really grunty kite, not as nice to fly as the 11, but if you want a kite to get you off the
beach on those light wind days, this is it. From personal experience Id say it gets going sooner than a 19.5 contra!! Super stable,
loads a boost. Well impressed. I havnt actually bought one for my self, ( I was trying one that a clients bought), but now Im gonna
have to have one. I still think that the 11 is the kite, but the power of this is amazing.
Excuse my pimping, but it realy does get you up in 8 knots!!( Im 13.5 stone)!!
Please, please more wind tommorow!!
