A Survey for the Welsh Baccalaureate
I'm a Penglias student in Aberystwyth and, as you may be aware, we have to complete the welsh baccalaureate in addition to our
A-levels. Our first section is entitled "Wales, Europe and the World" and we have to conduct research into a topic that affects our
local area. Our chosen topic is Water Sprts in the Aberystwyth Area. As part of this research we would like to ask a questionnaire
about the water sports people do and what people opinions are of water sports in the area. We will be doing the survey in the
Aberystwyth town centre at some point, but we're posting it here aswell so we can get more results.

Yes

Not really.. I'm usually out there doing them

No, I think it has a good image and we try to keep it that way using this site.

11. Some watersports may have a bad image to non water users, jet skiing, kitesurfing etc. We try to promote a good image where
possibe.

4. What Facilities? Very Good location.
5. 4/5.
6. None. Yet (He's only 1!)

9. Don't know. Don't see may adverts.
10. Not if I'm participating - Life's too short to watch!

12. On the whole, I'd say there's a very good image. Feedback I've had suggests watersports keeps the place going all year.
