Yeah, lets hope there lots of wind again... Although I'm not sure why they say they'll be in the estuary if it goes Westerly!!!!...
I'll be on the seafront if it's Westerly! E or NE and I'll be in the estuary.

Yep, I'll be there if the forecast looks good.
Let's hope the wind's not from the east because there won't be much water in the estuary........
Saturday HT 08:05 4.2m LT 14:50 1.2m
Sunday HT 08:31 4.4m LT 15:16 1.1m
Cheers

The tides are pretty small though so there might be enough water in the channel even at low tide....just like last year.

So, only a month to go until the demo day... Who's coming?? Are any of those that sometimes travel to Borth going to come along and
join in the fun?? BEFS, Spencer, Wes etc???
I'll start with the wind dances early, but I guess even if there isn't enough wind there will be lots of new shiney toys to look at and
drool over and I'm sure there'll be a BBQ.

Does anyone know what kit will be there?? How much of it? Is it free to try it or do I need to give them some cash /deposit? Will there
be enough to go around or will I be waiting around all the time... Is it worth bringing my own kit or not?

Well I'm still planning on it at this time, but its going to be a wait for the weather affair.
as for what will be there, last year we had equipment from (an I might have missed some)
JP
F2
Starboard
Tabou
Tushingham
Gastra
Arrows
and its a case of wondering up to the setup area and grabbing whatever combo you want. Its free, and no deposit required.
There was loads of kit last year. Enough to go around, but some waiting was required. I take my own kit anyway, just so you can be sure
that you'll sail. But then I can be an anti-social git and want some water to myself!

If there's any wind I'll be down for a day, maybe two. If there's hardly any wind I'll probably still make the trip anyway ;-)
Like Wes says there is loads of kit to try and it's all free to try out and rigged up for you ;-)
The demo is either in the Golf Course car park or the estuary depending on conditions, just look for the flags. They are usually set up
by 11.00am depending on how much beer is downed the night before and they sometimes bring along a well known sailor. One year I had
John Skye rigging up for Jules, nice ;-)
I find it's well worth taking your own kit as well just in case the conditions are good and you just want to get out there and don't
want to wait for kit. I usually sail my own kit then have a go on some new toys as well.
Cheers, Andy.

Yep, there should be lots of kit there, Wes mentioned most, but did miss out Rushwind and probably a few others. There is usually
enough to go around as well, but you may have a bit of a wait if there is something in particular you want to try out... Often people
tend to find something they like and then want to stay on it all day!! If this is the case I'm sure if you asked the organisers they
would make sure you got a go on the board you were interested in.
As the others have said I tend to take my own kit as well... Mainly becauseI'm a bit of an early bird and if the wind is blowing at
first light I'll want to get out on the water... The demo kit isn't set up by then. In fact it can take them a whilt to get all the kit
set up so there can be quite a bit of waiting around first thing... You may as well rig your own kit and get out there while they are
setting up the demo kit....Just in case the wind drops.
You will of course need your own wetsuit and harness.

Jules and I have worked ourselves passes from the kids, so if the wind is looking good we might make a weekend of it (not a long
weekend though)...

I think that right for all the forcasts Spencer just seems to be the way they do it. I think they do it to keep joe public happy, they
forcast wet and/or windy if it happens they get it right if they get it wrong joe public think this is nice forcast was for wet and
windy.
Either that or its just to piss us off bigtime
