Products for sale
Just wondering what was that scam that was going round, about someone asking to buy the product for sale, they want to pay by cheque
and for it to be shipped out. Wondering because i just got a message along those lines for my board for sale

There are a few... Basically the cheques are fake and the banks won't clear them... The scamsters say they are going to send you a huge
cheque (£1000's) even though the item you are selling only costs £100, they then want you to send them the change!!... The cheque
they send you is a fake which takes a while for your bank to discover...The scamsters hope that by that time you have sent them the
change and they make a tidy profit... Just ignore them or report them to the authorities (I'm sure there must be a website where you
can report such things).

Yeah - I've even had mails offering to buy a product I had put in the wanted ads....
The standard of English they use is normally a bit of a give away.
If they could make sentences proper, like what I do, they would be able to a living make decently.

It's called the 419 scam, check out www.419eater.com on how people get the scammers back, it's real funny - particularly the trophy
room, I had one scammer going from Nigeria for quite a while - give em as good as they give I say!
