Little sail after work. Not really enough wind, but sufficient to get a few decent gybes in. Then just practicing a few freestyle off the plane things. Saw Mike do a good "Essex Duck"

Ok for the thick and uninformed whats and essex duck?

Essex Duck

It's a duck gybe with a sail and body 360 in the middle of the turn before you finalise it. It was first done by a certain big bloke called Dave White, who's from Essex, hence the "Essex Duck". I've seen it done on Peter Harts video from a few years ago, and claims it's name and to be the 1st to do it. He also does it on a recent DVD (can't remember which), in the speed strip in Dahab. You obviously need flat water.
