Lots of new toys

Well, theres very little wind so I've just been and ordered lots of new toys instead:

1x 2005 6.7m Gun Jam sail (freestyley with apparently a really good bottom end).
1x 2005 5.7m Gun Wave MC sail (one of my favourites).
1x 145-205 wave boom (to replace the one I snapped a few weeks ago)
2 x Heavy duty wave bases (to replace to two I've snapped this year)
1 x 2o inchfixed harness lins
1x uphaul
1 x 32cm US Box Jam fin (to go with the 6.7m fin)

The 6.7m sail and 32cm fin were special order so won't be dispatched for a couple of weeks, but the rest should leave Gun on Tuesday and be with me sometime around the end of next week..... Lovely Jubbly!

The we need some wind so that I can get out there and use / abuse it all.

Al.

9.4m!! Thats huge, I thought I was going a little OTT with the 6.7m which is the biggest sail I've ever owned... Mind you, thinking of getting a mini-mal surfboard at some point too... Maybe it's an age thing!

Well, I've just spent half an hour battling with loads of bubble-wrap and packing tape nas the new kit has arrived... It actually arrived yesterday but the silly delivery driver parked outside our house and then went next door for some reason... Found no-one was home so went again!!!

Everything looks as expected.. But then most of the stuff was direct replacements for things I had worn out so there were no surprises...A lthough the new Wave MC sail looks REALLY nice... I'll order a nice 20 knots for the weekend please!

Ive just added a new toy to my toybox an 8.5 lightning.
Don't think my 8.5 is going to last another summer so bought the exdemo sail from brog while is was still there Has only seen 3 months demo use and about £160 less than a new one

Got myself a bargain 8.5 (as it was from 2003, but never left the shop)

Unfortunately I've got to spend what I saved on a new boom to fit it.

Hey - that counts as another new toy

SNAP!

Got the blue one as well. Can't wait to use it, on the new Stoke 125 I could beat cammed 9.5's on flat water with my old 8.0 Heckler although I could not get going quite as soon - should scream along on the Lightning!

Summer sea breezes here we come

Well I got my 4.5, but decided on the more powerful Storm instead. That should be it for now, unless someone has a Mistral Syncro 90 for sale.....
