Waist Harness
After breaking my seat harness last week, I ordered a new chest harness from Gun, which arrived yesterday.
I've only used a waist harness a couple of times before (borrowed ones), and both of them felt really uncomfortable as soon as I put
them on...sailing in them wasn't any better.... So I was a little worried that the one I ordered from Gun (without trying it on) may
have been the same. However, although I haven't used it on the water yet, it felt pretty comfortable in my living room!!...Actually, it
felt really nice, and looks good too. I'm just going to have to adjust my sailing stance a little now, so if you see my struggling in
the water over the next few weeks, its not because I'm crap...its because I have a new harness that I'm not used too!
Who, knows, with the new found freedom of movement it'll provide I could be doing forward loops before I'm...50.

Swapped to a waist harness meself in the spring... once you get used to the fact you can't use your bum as a pendulum they're great! I
just read somewhere that they're THE ones to get. The main benefit for me is the lumbar support which has stopped any back ache.

I'd agree with that, took me a couple of sessions to get used to the change in stance as I always tended to sit in the seat harness
quite a lot, now I really like the waist harness especially in a swell.
it really surprised me how much shorter the lines had to be
enjoy

Hmmm...shorter lines hey?.. Well I only use 20cm fixed ones at the moment (with my seat harness).. Looks like I shall have to shop
around for some REALLY short ones.

No u dont need shorter harness lines u just need raise ur boom slightly to get the MFP back
