Getting motorbike into van

Not a strictly sporting question I know, but maybe someone on here can help...

Have decided to buy a van similar to Al's (sincerest form of flattery, A!) with the aim of taking my beloved Triumph with me on the world tour, for those no-wind days when a blast in the mountains beckons. Bike one side, boards & toys on the other. But... does anyone here have suggestions how to load/unload a 240Kg bike on my own? A lift would take too much room. To wheel the bike up a ramp using the throttle whilst standing on the ground would be too precarious. My only idea so far is a 3 ft wide kind of reinforced ramp so I could ride in & out, but where could I acquire one, and how could I secure it to the floor of the fan? Any sensible ideas welcomed!

Cheers,

Andrew
