Top waves at Tolcarne
Got in at tolcarn this morning. Originally planned to go to Towan, but there was a Billabong Juniors comp on. Plus, the guy doing the
announcements told me there's a bylaw that says you can't surf Towan between may and september. Is this true, or was he taking the
piss? Conditions were pretty good, about 4-5ft, but a bit blown out at the tolcarne end. It was much better at Towan, by the harbour
cos there was some shelter from the wind. Still, good to see some nice conditions for the groms. It was lovely and sunny too.
